What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for dynamic and results-oriented Regional Facilities Managers to oversee the

management of our facilities across designated regions in Nigeria. If you excel in project

execution, workspace functionality, space planning, and can translate concepts into

actionable 2D/3D architectural drawings, we’d love to meet you.

All successful candidates must demonstrate strong project management capabilities and

possess a valid HSE certification. These roles are essential to supporting our growing

infrastructure with compliant, well-designed, and efficient work environments.

Role Overview

As a Regional Facilities Manager at Moniepoint, you will manage the operations of multiple

facilities in your assigned region. Your responsibilities will span property acquisition, office

development, health and safety compliance, project execution, space planning, vendor

oversight, and facility maintenance.

You will leverage your proficiency in architectural and 3D design to conceptualize and deliver

workspace layouts that align with Moniepoint’s operational and brand standards. This role

demands cross-functional collaboration, technical excellence, and the ability to deliver

cost-effective, scalable infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Operations and Management

● Manage daily operations and maintenance of all Moniepoint facilities in the region,

including offices, branches, and repair centers.

● Ensure facilities comply with local regulations, health and safety standards, and

company policies.

● Implement preventive maintenance programs and monitor service delivery quality.

● Oversee workspace functionality, safety, and operational standards.

Space Planning and Design

● Develop detailed 2D architectural plans and 3D renderings for new and existing facilities.

● Utilize tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp to optimize space usage and design

layouts.

● Translate business requirements into functional, efficient, and brand-aligned

workspaces.

● Review and update designs in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Property Acquisition and Lease Management

● Lead the identification, negotiation, and acquisition of properties that meet business

needs.

● Support lease documentation, title verification, and legal review with relevant

departments.

● Manage office and employee relocation efforts, ensuring smooth transitions.

Project Management and Workspace Coordination

● Deliver end-to-end management of facility development and upgrade projects across

multiple locations.

● Coordinate project timelines, design reviews, contractor engagement, and execution.

● Ensure adherence to quality standards, budgets, and deadlines.

● Provide post-project support including snag list closure and handover documentation.

Vendor and Contractor Management

● Select, onboard, and oversee third-party vendors for construction, maintenance, and

support services.

● Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, drive compliance, and manage performance

reviews.

● Ensure timely issue resolution and maintain relationships with key service providers.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance

● Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations across

all facilities.

● Implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and regular risk assessments.

● Promote environmental sustainability through energy efficiency and waste management

initiatives.

● All candidates must hold a valid HSE certification and demonstrate practical HSE

implementation experience.

Cost and Budget Management

● Prepare and manage the regional facilities budget, tracking all expenses.

● Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.

● Provide monthly reports on expenditures, project costs, and budget performance.

Employee and Workspace Support

● Recommend and deliver workspace improvements that enhance employee productivity

and satisfaction.

● Oversee procurement and maintenance of office furniture, utilities, and equipment.

● Ensure clean, safe, and conducive environments through effective janitorial and utility

services.

Continuous Improvement and Reporting

● Gather feedback to assess the effectiveness of facilities services and identify

improvement opportunities.

● Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance, cost control, and

space management.

● Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to align infrastructure

plans with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Experience

● Minimum of 7 years’ experience in facilities management, infrastructure development,

and project execution.

● Proven record of managing end-to-end facility projects across multiple locations.

● Strong background in space planning and architectural design, including 2D/3D

drawings.

Education

● Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Skills

● Proficiency in design and visualization software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).

● Strong project management and coordination capabilities.

● Solid knowledge of HSE and regulatory requirements.

● Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

● Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.

Certifications

● Valid HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001) is mandatory.

● Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are a strong advantage.

● Membership in a professional body (e.g., IFMA, ARCON) is a plus.
