Maven is hiring an Product Manager - Claims & Payments — the infrastructure that ensures members, providers, and employers are paid accurately and on time. This is a high-impact surface that touches every clinical program Maven runs. Getting it right is foundational to everything else working.

This is an early-career role with real ownership. You will work closely with the VP of Product, Healthcare and partner with engineering, operations, and finance to deliver on a roadmap that includes in-house claims adjudication, payer integrations, and the operational tooling that keeps Maven's payments infrastructure running. This is a builder role — you will be hands-on in the work from day one.

What you will do

Own the Claims & Payments product surface: claims adjudication logic, payer and employer reconciliation, payment operations tooling, and provider payments

Partner with engineering and operations to define requirements, write specs, and ship improvements to claims processing workflows

Instrument and monitor claims and payments data — identify where errors occur, where reconciliation breaks down, and surface findings to the team

Work closely with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Payment Operations to understand business requirements and translate them into product solutions

Support the long-term migration away from Alegeus — contributing to discovery, requirements gathering, and execution as the roadmap evolves

Learn Maven's payments infrastructure end to end — payer integrations, adjudication logic, employer configuration — and become the person who knows it best

What we are looking for

2-5+ years of product, operations, or analytical experience — ideally in healthcare, fintech, or a complex B2B2C environment

Curiosity about how payments and claims systems work — you don't need to be an expert on day one but you need to want to become one

Strong analytical skills: you are comfortable in data, can identify patterns, and communicate findings clearly

Detail orientation — claims and payments work requires precision. Errors have real consequences for members and providers.

High ownership mentality: you follow through, you flag issues early, and you do not wait to be told what to do next

Clear written and verbal communication — you can translate complex system behavior into plain language for non-technical stakeholders

Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows is a plus — we expect all PMs to work in an agentic development environment

The base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $185,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on qualifications, experience, and skillset.
