We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our global People Ops team. In this role, you'll play a key part in executing employee lifecycle processes — everything from onboarding new hires to coordinating off boarding processes. You'll bring strong organizational skills, a knack for problem-solving, and a passion for creating a seamless employee experience.

This is a full time role based in our San Francisco Hub.

What you'll do at Figma:

Manage US onboarding and off boarding processes including HR system workflows, background checks, I9 checks, and communications

Assist with bi-weekly in person onboarding in our SF hub by welcoming new hires and managing logistics

Serve as the first point of contact for People related questions including onboarding, HR data, benefits, and verifications of employment

Partner with key stakeholders including IT and Payroll to onboard new hires and keep information up to date

Support processing employee changes including compensation, relocation, and manager changes

Provide support for managing global time off and time and attendance

Maintain and organize internal documentation; regularly review and update documentation to reflect changing processes

Manage HR team compliance efforts to ensure adherence to all federal and state labor laws

Assist with projects within the people team

Pay Transparency Disclosure

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.

Figma provides paid sick leave, holidays, and other leave benefits in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the requirements of the Washington Minimum Wage Act and related regulations. For non-exempt employees, PTO is accrued at a rate equivalent to 15 days per year for full‑time employees. Accrued PTO may be used for vacation or personal time, subject to company policy and manager approval. In addition, the company provides 10 paid sick days annually for non-exempt full-time employees. Additional benefits may include company recharge days, cell phone and home internet reimbursements, and a number of lifestyle spending accounts. Figma also offers sales incentive compensation for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles. All compensation and benefits are subject to applicable plan terms and may be modified by Figma at any time, consistent with applicable law.

Hourly Base Pay Range:

$37.50—$65.40 USD
