JOB OVERVIEW

Compound Planning, a leading fintech investment advisory firm, is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our operations team. The Operations Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations, supporting both client services and internal processes. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for financial services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist in the processing of client transactions, including account openings, transfers, and withdrawals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

- Support the reconciliation of client accounts and investment transactions to maintain accurate records.

- Partner closely with Wealth Management Associates and Operational Associates to unblock work and reduce operational friction for advisors and clients.

- Maintain and update internal databases and systems to ensure accurate and timely information flow.

- Conduct regular audits of operational processes to identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency.

- Maintain accurate documentation and updates in internal systems and tracking tools.

- Prepare and generate reports on operational metrics, client activity, and performance.

- Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.

- Support the onboarding of new clients and investment products by coordinating with various departments.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.

- Previous experience in operations or administration, preferably within the financial services industry.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Proficient in Google Suite; experience with investment management software is a plus.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Knowledge of investment products and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
