Legal Adviser @ Flip

What you’ll have to do:

Drafts, reviews, and approves commercial contracts, forms, and related documentation, and actively provides legal support throughout the process of drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts;

Prepares, reviews, and approves legal documents required in the Company’s relations with partners and clients (e.g., notices, agreements, addenda, etc.), as well as in interactions with supervisory and regulatory authorities (e.g., correspondence with authorities);

Prepares, reviews, and provides legal and compliance approval for the Company’s standard internal documents (e.g., promotional campaign and contest rules, Terms and Conditions, privacy policy and other documents published on the Company’s websites, declarations of conformity);

Provides legal and compliance opinions and recommendations on various areas of law in connection with the Company’s activities;

Ensures the legality of the Company’s organization and operation in accordance with its constitutive documents and shareholders' decisions, and contributes to the management of corporate governance activities at the company level;

Collaborates with the direct supervisor in documenting and substantiating legal and/or compliance aspects of investigations conducted by the Company in response to potential fraud, security incidents, information requests from regulatory authorities and/or the police, as well as violations of internal procedures and policies by Company personnel;

Monitors legislative initiatives and changes (both national and EU legislation) relevant to the Company and informs Company staff accordingly;

What makes you a good fit:

University degree in Law;

General legal experience: minimum 3 years of practice in the fields of: civil law (obligations), e-commerce (including cross-border), international trade, and consumer protection, complemented by a general understanding of retail financing solutions (e.g., BNPL, installments) and upcoming European regulations;

Knowledge of legislation regarding the trade of electrical and electronic equipment (e.g., product safety, waste, IP rights) and experience in corporations, law firms, and/or regulated institutions may be considered an advantage;

Fluency in English;

Analytical and synthesis skills; accuracy and attention to detail;

Teamwork skills;

Ability to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment;

Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for effectively formulating and delivering legal opinions to the company’s management team with clarity and confidence.
