About the team and the role
QuintoAndar is the largest residential real estate ecosystem in Latin America, transforming the way people rent, buy, and sell homes through technology. We are an AI-first company: we believe Artificial Intelligence is redefining how we work, decide, and create value - and that applies to every function, including Tax.
We are looking for a Direct Tax Manager to lead the Direct Tax Compliance agenda across Latin America, with primary responsibility for Brazil and coordination of tax compliance activities in Argentina, Mexico, Ecuador, Panama, and Peru.
This is a strategic role with high autonomy and visibility, combining deep technical expertise in direct taxation with a broad business mindset - sitting at the intersection of Tax, Controllership, FP&A, and regional and global Finance leadership. You will play a leading role in modernizing the Tax function, driving automation, governance, and the adoption of AI to redesign traditionally manual processes.
This is not a people management position at the outset: we are looking for a senior technical specialist with strong influencing skills, excellent stakeholder management, and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

Review and approve monthly and annual Corporate Income Tax (IRPJ) and Social Contribution on Net Income (CSLL) calculations under the Actual Profit Regime (Lucro Real).

Coordinate and review direct tax compliance obligations in Argentina, Mexico, Ecuador, Panama, and Peru, in partnership with local tax teams and external tax advisors.
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes related to direct taxation across the region, assessing business impacts and recommending appropriate actions.
Tax Accounting & Financial Reporting
Review current and deferred income tax provisions (IAS 12 / CPC 32).
Prepare tax disclosures for statutory and consolidated financial statements.
Analyze tax variances.
Support quarterly and annual financial close processes.
Tax Advisory & Business Partnering
Act as the primary technical point of contact on direct tax matters with auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors.
Partner strategically with Accounting, Controllership, FP&A, and regional Finance teams.
Governance, Automation & AI
Strengthen tax governance, compliance processes, and internal controls.
Lead automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the Tax function.
Champion the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies to redesign tax processes, automate repetitive tasks, and elevate decision-making quality.
Support global and regional tax transformation projects.
