Fanelli, Evans & Patel, P.C. is a growing Pennsylvania personal injury law firm with offices in Pottsville, Reading, and Sunbury. The firm represents individuals and families in motor vehicle accidents, trucking and commercial vehicle collisions, nursing home neglect, medical malpractice, dangerous property cases, defective products, wrongful death claims, and other serious personal injury matters.

The firm is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Remote Personal Injury Paralegal who can confidently manage responsibilities throughout the life cycle of a case while working in a technology-forward, remote environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and thrives with minimal supervision.

What you’ll do:

Case Opening: Open new personal injury files, organize client and incident information, identify insurance coverage and potential defendants, establish case materials, and track important deadlines.

Pre-Litigation Case Management: Coordinate insurance communications, monitor medical treatment, obtain supporting documentation, maintain client communication, and help move cases toward settlement.

Medical Records & Damages: Request, organize, and review medical records and billing, while preparing medical chronologies, treatment summaries, damages summaries, and supporting documentation.

Settlement Demand Preparation: Assemble settlement demand packages containing liability information, medical treatment records, damages documentation, wage loss information, photographs, and lien information.

Litigation Support: Assist with pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, deposition preparation, document organization, court deadlines, expert materials, and trial preparation.

Discovery & Document Management: Organize and assist with interrogatories, requests for production, subpoenas, authorizations, document productions, and case records.

Settlement & File Closing: Track releases, settlement documents, lien resolution, medical balances, disbursement materials, closing correspondence, and final file organization.

Client Communication: Maintain professional communication with clients regarding treatment updates, documentation requests, and case progress under attorney supervision.

AI & Technology Support: Utilize approved AI and legal technology tools to summarize records, organize case information, prepare drafts, and improve workflow efficiency while protecting confidential information.

What we’re looking for:

U.S. Personal Injury Experience: 2–5+ years supporting United States personal injury cases, preferably with exposure to the complete case lifecycle.

End-to-End Case Knowledge: Strong understanding of personal injury matters from intake through settlement, lien resolution, disbursement, and closing.

AI & Legal Technology Experience: Comfortable using AI responsibly to improve productivity while verifying accuracy and maintaining confidentiality.

Exceptional Organization: Able to manage multiple active cases, deadlines, documentation requirements, and competing priorities.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written English and professional verbal communication skills for internal collaboration and client interactions.

Independent Remote Worker: Self-motivated, dependable, responsive during agreed working hours, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Attention to Detail: Highly organized with excellent follow-through and commitment to accuracy.

Professionalism & Confidentiality: Demonstrates discretion, secure work practices, and maintains a private, reliable remote workspace.
