We are a professional, fast-growing automotive repair facility dedicated to providing exceptional service and high-quality repairs. With a team of experienced technicians and state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, we take pride in delivering reliable automotive solutions and outstanding customer care.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Automotive Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a highly motivated technician with strong diagnostic abilities, leadership experience, and a passion for excellence in automotive repair.

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

1-hour lunch break

No weekends

Position Overview

As the Lead Automotive Technician, you will play a key leadership role in daily shop operations by performing advanced diagnostics and repairs while mentoring and supporting fellow technicians. You will help ensure efficient workflow, accurate repairs, and the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on domestic and import vehicles

Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, engine, suspension, steering, and brake systems

Lead, mentor, and support technicians to maintain productivity and repair quality

Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and job prioritization

Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate repair recommendations and estimates

Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and correctly the first time

Maintain compliance with safety procedures and industry regulations

Utilize diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and shop management software effectively

Maintain accurate repair orders, service records, and parts documentation

Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Deliver excellent customer service by clearly communicating repair needs and solutions

Qualifications

Extensive automotive technician experience with a strong diagnostic background

Previous leadership or shop foreman experience preferred

Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures

Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and repair software

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail

Strong communication and team leadership skills

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

ASE certifications are a plus

Compensation & Benefits

$45–$63 per hour, depending on experience
