Associate Staff Accountant - Accounts Payable
Overview:
This role will perform activities to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and making payments for Global Precisely. This role has daily interaction with other departments across the company therefore it requires advanced verbal and communication skills.
What you will do:
Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations for global entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Assist with tax payments, customer refunds, and ad hoc requests related to audits, legal, and compliance requirements.
Process AP invoices after general checks complying with Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
Coordinate purchase order approvals and monitor workflow to maintain timely processing.
Execute weekly payment runs and handle urgent payment requests as needed.
Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and resolve discrepancies to maintain strong supplier relationships.
Review and reconcile aged payable reports, addressing overdue items and ensuring timely resolution.
Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
Perform corporate card reconciliations and ensure proper documentation for expense compliance.
Other duties may be assigned.
What we are looking for:
Required:
Minimum a Commerce graduate or above.
Atleast 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
Sound knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and accounting principles.
Exposure to Coupa, NetSuite is required.
Able to handle internal and external users queries independently.
AI Skills/Knowledge:
Proficient in using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to draft communications, summarize information, and improve productivity..
Ability to leverage AI for data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
Preferred Skills (a plus but not required):
Advance knowledge of MS Office (Excel).
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process efficiencies.
Experience working in a shared services or global finance environment.
