Your Impact on our Mission

As an FP&A Associate, you will partner with leaders across Zocdoc to support financial planning, investment decisions, and executive reporting that help shape how the company allocates resources. You will own financial planning for our G&A functions, support consolidated company forecasting, and help prepare the reporting used by our CEO, CFO, and leadership team to understand business performance and inform company decisions. We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical problem solver who is intellectually curious, eager to understand how a growing technology company operates, and excited to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights. This role offers broad exposure across the business and provides a strong foundation for future growth within FP&A, Strategic Finance, and other finance leadership roles.

Your day to day is…

Partner with leaders across Finance, HR, Legal, and other functions to develop annual plans, evaluate investments, allocate resources, and forecast financial performance

Own driver-based financial models to forecast key areas of the P&L and Balance Sheet, identifying risks and opportunities as business conditions evolve

Partner with Finance leadership to prepare executive reporting and financial insights that support decisions by Zocdoc's CEO, CFO, leadership team, Board of Directors, and investors

Provide business leaders with financial and operational reporting that helps them understand performance, evaluate tradeoffs, and make informed decisions

Build business cases and ad hoc analyses to evaluate investments, resource allocation, and strategic opportunities

Lead meetings with stakeholders and prepare materials to support forecasting, budgeting, and ongoing performance reviews

Leverage financial systems and data tools to improve reporting, increase visibility into performance, and enable more efficient decision-making

Help drive company-wide budgeting and FP&A processes, with a focus on continuous improvement and stronger business partnership

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, valuation, investment banking, or corporate accounting, with strong experience building models and analyses to support business decisions

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field

Solid understanding of corporate finance and GAAP accounting

Strong analytical, business partnering, and communication skills

Ability to turn financial and operational data into clear insights for non-Finance audiences

Strong business acumen and interest in understanding what drives performance across functions

Mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

Experience working with financial EPMs such as Planful, Oracle Cloud, or Workday Adaptive Planning; experience with BI or data visualization tools is a plus

Enthusiasm for using technology and data to improve analysis and decision-making

Strong academic record

Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills. NYC Base Salary Range

$100,000—$130,000 USD
