Housing Coordinator
About this role:
The Housing Coordinator (“Coordinator”) is an integral member of Community Reach Center’s Hud Project (“Division”) Division. The Coordinator observes and documents client behavior and progress toward treatment goals. The Coordinator is available to clients for one-on-one support with housing concerns and ensuring a safe environment. Additionally, the Coordinator will have other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by the Program Manager.
Essential Functions:
Participates in homeless outreach and maintains HMIS requirements.
Provide trauma informed interventions that minimize harm and restrictive measures and empower clients to share responsibility in their recovery plan.
Participates in crisis and behavior management/de-escalation interventions according to state regulations, training and established best practices.
Collaborate with clients to identify personal strengths, assist in development, implement treatment and disposition plans, unmet needs, and interventions that will support the client in regaining a sense of control.
Development and facilitation of therapeutic housing services and assisting with case management functions.
Report building maintenance requests/issues promptly and conducts all HQS inspections
Coordinates, facilitates, and oversees the State voucher.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or directly related field required.
Must become HQS certified.
1+ years of experience in a similar role and/or training.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record, to be maintained while employed.
Communication, organization, time management and clinical skills.
Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and keyboard.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
Light to moderate lifting is required,
Regular, predictable attendance is required.
Schedule:
: Monday - Thursday 10 hour days 7:30am to 6pm 1/2 hour lunch. Will complete in home inspections, may travel to different locations Brighton office main location does travel to Coronado 3 days a week.
HQS inspections (in home inspections for housing). We train the HQS does not need pre-knowledge.
Pay Information:
Eligible for $250/month Bilingual Stipend
Starting Pay Range: $23.50 - $27.00 per hour
