The Account Manager role is responsible for working with the customer to make sure that they renew existing business and grow our footprint by upselling managed services and additional data/products for existing business.

Service/ Support
Provide strategic support and guidance on key deliverables and customer requests for existing business
Manage engagement scope (and investment requests) and contracting for managed services for existing business and renewals
Collaborate with Customer Enablement, Product, and Analytics teams to ensure customers’ objectives for the Komodo partnership are met and value/ROI is documented
Value Delivery
Communicate / evangelize the value delivered and ROI for renewals and existing business
Prepare for and lead QBRs
Account Growth
Proactively educate stakeholders on new services and product features in coordination with the AVP
Ensure organizational support and secure budget for contractual renewal of existing business
Engage regularly with buyers / key decision makers for existing business
Develop all renewal/expansion collateral
Identify other upsell opportunities (additional TAs, additional products, additional data, etc.) and share with AVPs
What you bring to Komodo Health (required):
6+ years overall working experience in the biopharma or adjacent health technology industry, with 3+ years in a client-facing role as a consultant or life sciences data/software/service provider
Prior experience in sales or delivery of data/software/consulting services with penetration into multiple customer groups and analytics engagements, experience selling, deploying or servicing cloud-based SaaS product offerings to Life Sciences customers.
Effective communication and storytelling skills, and the ability to successfully communicate with a variety of levels within a biopharma organization
Data analysis skills, with a strong interest and passion for leveraging data to generate unique intelligence and insights for competitive advantage
Impeccable project management skills and the ability to influence without authority
A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding department goals and/or customer satisfaction, with comfort in providing recommendations and solutions based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership
Demonstrated ability to work with and manage relationships with customers and partners at a senior management and director level (Bonus if you have done this with C-Suite level executives)
Extensive experience with structuring client deliverables in PowerPoint/G-Slides, Word, Excel, including an expert ability to “tell the story” with supporting analysis in a clear and effective manner
Ability to leverage AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) to enhance personal productivity, streamline workflows, or improve decision-making
Additional skills and experience we’ll prioritize (nice to have)…
Understanding of how consultancies and/or FinServ clients (hedge funds, PE, VC, and other investment management firms) can benefit from Komodo's data within the life science ecosystem
Experience interacting with, managing, or building with AI agentic workflows

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.
The starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with a written agreement or plan. This role may also be eligible for equity awards. In addition, this role is eligible for benefits including, but not limited to, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability insurance and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable state and local laws and regulations and company policy.
San Francisco Bay Area and New York City:
$125,000—$155,000 USD
All Other US Locations:
$125,000—$155,000 USD
