About the Role:
You will join a collaborative team of Software Engineers responsible for delivering high quality software that supports satellite-related solutions (web based GUIs and public facing APIs). You will be involved in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and engage with the latest software technologies. You will also be part of a cross-functional team working in an Agile, highly collaborative, cross-functional environment in which we strive to build quality into every step of the delivery process.
This role emphasizes teamwork, process improvement, and shared ownership. The ideal candidate is innovative, results-driven, proactive, and an effective communicator with a mix of curiosity and passion for satellite technologies.
This is a part-time, in-office position based in our Berlin office approximately 3 days per week.
Impact You’ll Own:
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment, including planning, feature implementation, test automation.
Contribute to maintenance and improvement of existing tools and test automation frameworks, microservice applications and test data management.
Support internal workflows and prepare documentation.
What You Bring:
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree.
Basic knowledge of Python or Javascript/Typescript.
Tech savvy: eager to learn new technologies and skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
Creative thinker with the ability to approach problems from multiple angles.
Professional working proficiency in English, the language of the company.
What Makes You Stand Out:
Development background using Python, Javascript, Typescript, Git.
Web Application development experience.
Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD concepts.
Familiarity with testing practices, API testing and Python (pytest)..
Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.
