Tasks:

Receive shipments, check for damages and sort stock for distribution in the market/warehouse

Keep record of invoices sent and received

Fill orders by taking items from the warehouse and prepare them for delivery to chefs

Keep track record of chefs ingredient requirements and returns

Monitor shelves and fill them in when needed

Keep up with the movement of merchandise in the store and warehouse

Weekly counting of assigned inventory

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Spanish language skills are a plus

Reliable attendance and punctuality are required

Ability to operate a pallet jack is helpful but not required

Experience working in a food production or food handling facility is helpful but not required

Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8-hour shifts and lift/carry up to 50 pounds

May occasionally be required to work in refrigerated areas maintained at approximately 35°F

Compensation

All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Pay Range for this position

$18—$18.50 USD
