Sitecore Developer (XM Cloud/SitecoreAI) - Sr/Lead

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Sitecore Backend Developer to join our team and drive the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-grade digital experience platforms built on the Sitecore ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in Sitecore XM Cloud, composable DXP architectures, .NET, Azure, Next.js, cloud-native integrations, and modern DevOps practices.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader capable of architecting and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions while collaborating closely with architects, product teams, and engineering leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise digital experience solutions using Sitecore XM Cloud and the broader Sitecore composable ecosystem.

Lead backend development efforts using .NET/C#, building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications and services.

Architect and implement integrations between Sitecore and enterprise systems, including CRM, ERP, CDP, DAM, marketing automation, and e-commerce platforms.

Develop and consume RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, web services, and event-driven integrations.

Design and support headless and composable architectures leveraging Sitecore JSS, Experience Edge, and modern frontend frameworks.

Collaborate with solution architects to define cloud-native architectures and integration patterns.

Implement best practices around performance optimization, scalability, security, observability, and reliability.

Support migration and modernization initiatives from traditional Sitecore XP/XM implementations to XM Cloud and composable DXP solutions.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.

Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, code reviews, and mentoring activities.

Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams while driving engineering excellence.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Strong background in solution architecture, cloud-native development, and enterprise integrations

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Proven experience leading technical initiatives and complex enterprise implementations

Experience working directly with stakeholders, product owners, architects, and business leaders

Sitecore Expertise:

6+ years of hands-on Sitecore development experience.

Strong experience with:

Sitecore XM Cloud

Sitecore XP/XM (v9, v10.x)

Sitecore Headless Services

Sitecore Experience Edge

Sitecore JSS

Sitecore Content Serialization (SCS)

Experience designing and implementing headless and composable Sitecore architectures.

Familiarity with Sitecore ecosystem products, including:

Sitecore Search

Sitecore Personalize

Sitecore CDP

Sitecore Connect

Sitecore AI capabilities and AI-driven personalization use cases

Development:

Expert-level experience with:

C#

ASP.NET Core

.NET 6/7/8

Next.js

Dependency Injection

Entity Framework

Microservices architectures

Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.

Cloud & Azure:

Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including:

Azure App Services

Azure Functions

Azure Storage

Azure Key Vault

Azure Service Bus

Azure API Management

Azure Application Insights

Azure Monitor

Experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures.

Understanding of scalability, resiliency, security, and disaster recovery principles.

APIs & Integrations:

Strong experience designing and integrating:

REST APIs

GraphQL APIs

Webhooks

Event-driven architectures

Experience integrating Sitecore with enterprise platforms such as DAM and PIM solutions

DevOps & CI/CD:

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using:

Azure DevOps

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Certifications such as: Sitecore XM Cloud Developer Certification, Sitecore Certified Professional Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), or other relevant certs

Familiarity with: Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ARM Templates, Automated testing and deployment strategies

Experience with Docker
