Senior System Engineer (Okta)
About the client:
Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
We’re looking for:
A hands-on Okta specialist, not a general IAM candidate. The candidate should be able to step in quickly, operate independently, and deliver improvements with minimal ramp-up.
Duration: 6 months with potential prolongation.
Responsibilities:
Improve the stability and reliability of Okta operations
Reduce manual access management through automation
Develop more efficient and scalable lifecycle processes
Support and maintain our Okta environment (SSO, MFA, lifecycle, integrations)
Improve joiner/mover/leaver processes and reduce manual effort
Implement automation using Okta Workflows (or similar)
Troubleshoot and resolve identity-related issues
Document changes and support knowledge transfer
Requirements:
Must-Have:
Strong, recent hands-on experience with Okta Workforce Identity
Experience with:
SSO (SAML, OIDC)
SCIM provisioning
MFA and conditional access policies
Lifecycle Management (JML processes)
Experience with Okta Workflows (or similar automation tooling)
Strong troubleshooting capability across authentication and provisioning issues
Nice to Have:
Exposure to Okta Identity Governance (OIG)
Experience in improving lifecycle processes and reducing manual access handling
