About the Role

As a Senior Director, Strategy – Brand & Creative, you'll lead our Brand Strategy discipline within this team. We're looking for someone who is passionate about building breakthrough brands, developing bold strategic thinking, and creating impactful work that moves businesses and culture forward.

TL;DR – You've already done this for global brands on some of the world's biggest stages. You've been in the room when major decisions are made and know how to earn your seat there. You care more about the work being great than being right. You know the difference between a brand truth and a brand claim—and can teach others. You've built brand strategy that doesn't stop at the brief. You know how great brand platforms translate into integrated campaigns, digital experiences, product launches, and customer touchpoints. Most importantly, you're excited by the opportunity to build and grow a modern Brand Strategy practice within a highly collaborative, AI-forward agency.

Responsibilities:

Global Brand Positioning: Lead development of foundational brand strategy, architecture, and positioning for this industry-defining tech giant across its full product portfolio. Make sure the brand stays consistent, clear and relevant whether it's showing up in São Paulo, Seoul, or San Francisco.

High-Stakes Creative Strategy: Drive the strategic vision for highly-visible campaigns (e.g. Super Bowl spots, Olympics moments, global product launches, major repositionings). You've been in these rooms before and you know how to lead when the stakes are high.

Creative Partnership: Be the right hand to our Group Creative Directors. Write briefs that are provocative and inspiring and stay deeply engaged through the creative process to protect and elevate the core idea from brief to final cut.

Cultural Intelligence: Keep a genuine pulse on where culture is moving: what people care about, what's shifting, what's coming. Bring that fluency into the work before clients ask for it.

Team Leadership & Practice Building: Mentorship: Manage and mentor a team of brand strategists — directors, seniors, and beyond. Foster an environment where rigorous thinking, creative ambition, collaboration, and curiosity thrive together. Establish best practices, elevate the discipline, and contribute to building a world-class strategy organization.

Client Advisory & Business Growth: Build real, trusted relationships with senior marketing leaders at this multi-platform digital consumer and enterprise empire. Facilitate strategic conversations, confidently present recommendations, and influence key business decisions. Partner with Client Leadership and Creative teams to identify new opportunities, support proactive thinking, and lead strategic components of new business pitches.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with media, data, and AI teams to make sure the brand platform doesn't live in a deck — it translates into a full-funnel consumer experience, built with the speed and agility a pioneering, fast-paced Silicon Valley innovator expects.

About You

The essentials:

12+ years in Brand Planning or Creative Strategy at a top agency, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

You've worked on major global brands and campaigns that ran everywhere, on briefs that had real stakes.

You've built brand strategy that doesn't stop at the brief. You know how great brand platforms translate into integrated campaigns, digital experiences, product launches, and customer touchpoints.

Direct experience on high-profile, high-stakes campaigns: Super Bowl, Olympics, global product launches, or equivalent moments where the whole world is watching.

You know how to build a global brand platform—not just a campaign, but the idea underneath it.

The ability to take complex data and research and turn it into a simple, compelling idea that a creative team is excited to run with.

You've partnered closely with Executive Creative Directors and know how to challenge, inspire, and elevate creative work from brief through execution.

You've helped win new business and are comfortable leading the strategic portions of pitches and executive client presentations.

A track record of building and leading high-performing strategy teams. You're an empathetic leader who knows how to get the best out of people.

You're excited by the opportunity to build and grow a modern Brand Strategy practice—not simply inherit one.

You can command a room, sell a brave idea to a skeptical stakeholder, and always articulate the "why" behind the work.

Genuine curiosity about AI as a creative and strategic tool, not just a capability to check off.
