We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Reporting Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, you will play a key role in preparing and filing regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and supporting both internal and external reporting processes.  This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact finance team at a time of significant transition, where you will be closely involved in the financial reporting and governance that are critical to the company’s evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness

Assist in the interpretation and application of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.

Prepare and book monthly stock-based compensation journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate timely and efficient audits, ensuring all necessary supporting documentation is provided.

Assist technical accounting team by conducting research on complex accounting transactions and preparing written accounting memos for review by management and external auditors.

Work closely with internal teams (FP&A, tax, corp dev, etc.) and external advisors (e.g., legal counsel) as needed to support all financial data reporting needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.

CPA

3+ years of relevant accounting experience, with public accounting or financial reporting experience preferred

Knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX controls

Advanced knowledge of Excel (ability to maintain complex spreadsheets)

Works well in a team environment, as well as independently

Excellent research & analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset

Ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and follow through to execute all tasks

You have an advantage if you bring:

Familiarity with Netsuite and Workiva

Compensation Range: $89,623 - $104,500

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
