We are looking for a driven and capable Project Director to support us with the development of multiple Data Center projects for one of the top technology clients in the world. This is a client-facing role. You will be responsible for performing more complex aspects of project management, including scope, planning, budget, execution, multi-project resource management, and closing of construction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management: Lead and manage multiple engineering and construction projects from inception to completion
Project Oversight: Oversee all aspects of project management, including scope, planning, budget, execution, resource allocation, and closing of construction projects
Procurement Management: Prepare, review, and manage RFIs, RFPs, and submittals to ensure comprehensive and competitive project bids
Risk Management: Develop and maintain a risk register, identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
Daily Follow-Ups: Conduct daily follow-ups with project managers to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure project requirements and milestones are met
Stakeholder Management: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial resources are utilized effectively and projects are completed within budget
Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, safety regulations, as well as company policies and standards
Permit Management: Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and maintained throughout the project lifecycle, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
BIM Coordination: Oversee Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and coordinate with project teams to integrate and manage BIM data effectively, ensuring accurate and efficient project execution
Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects
Team Development: Foster team development plans, identify and monitor KPIs, and provide career development plans
Performance Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project performance reports to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and recommendations
Utilize project management software and tools to track and document project activities
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
20+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on GCC & MENA construction
Fluency in English is a must
Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and industry best practices
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards
Proven experience in managing a team of project managers
Strong knowledge of RFP preparation and management
Expertise in risk management and maintaining risk registers
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Construction Management
Earned Value Management experience
Active membership in PMI, CCMA, or similar associations
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
Strong background in data center development and construction
Design, testing, and commissioning experience
