Product Manager

Fulfilling this mission means building a scalable, cloud-native data platform that is purpose-built for healthcare. Our platform enables organizations to ingest, standardize, and access vast amounts of clinical and claims data in real time. It supports critical workflows across the healthcare ecosystem, including interoperability, analytics, care coordination, and member engagement. These demands require solving complex engineering problems, including the design and operation of distributed systems that manage massive data volumes while maintaining data integrity, availability, performance, and compliance.
You will:
Define and own the vision & strategy for your product area
Be a relentless advocate for the customer and have a deep understanding of their true needs, and translating these needs into use cases that detail customer and business impacts
Partner deeply with cross-functional teams like Engineering, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing to design, develop and launch end-to-end experiences that delight our customers
Drive innovation by identifying and implementing experiences that improve customer workflows, help 1upHealth scale and drive customer engagement
Create, iterate and maintain your product roadmap that tells the story of what we want to do this year and in the future
Guide the prioritization of what we build and the sequence, considering our business strategy and the needs of our customers and develop strong recommendations when inevitable trade-off discussions occur
Make an impact on users across the healthcare landscape
We are looking for people who have:
3+ years of experience in product management
You have experience launching consumer-facing products and also building experiences that involve data, APIs and/or systems
Experience taking complex/technical topics and being able to create stories that business and technical audiences resonate with
Understanding of data flows, ETL, APIs and related technologies and how different personas interact with them
Enjoy unpacking complex problems while keeping an eye on the bigger picture
Experience using quantitative (e.g., metrics, analytics) and qualitative data (e.g., research, user feedback) to inform product prioritization and decision-making
Experience with Agile development methodologies
You may also have
Knowledge of Healthcare data standards and communication (FHIR, HL7v2) and/or healthcare knowledge generally
