Job Title: QA Engineer

We at Coforge are hiring QA Engineer with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with product management, experience design, and engineering to ensure that products, services, and capabilities are designed and created with the highest quality standards.

Develop, execute, improve, and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts to provide comprehensive and practical testing of our deliverables.

Conduct manual and automated quality assurance to ensure our products meet business requirements and exceed customer expectations.

Identify, track and report software defects and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.

Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and practices to ensure that quality standards are met in the context of evolving complexity and interdependencies.

Conduct functional and regression testing to uncover defects that existing test cases may not cover.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, in a desktop software development environment, preferably on Windows and Linux

Demonstrable experience with quality assurance for visualization/rendering desktop applications

Familiarity with performance and load testing, both manual and automated.

Strong understanding of Quality Assurance disciplines, designing tests based on user stories, and testing methodologies including the authoring of functional test plans, regression testing, and performance / load testing scripts

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Exceptional team player with experience working on a scrum team developing desktop products and/or cloud services; understand software and/or services architecture, development, and testing; understand Agile and Scaled Agile

Knowledge of automated testing tools for Desktop application

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of scripting languages (Python or Perl).

Experience working with automation frameworks that scale, using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Behave, Robot Framework, or similar

Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other equivalent public clouds

Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals, algorithms, and related concepts

Knowledge of Autodesk Alias, Autodesk VRED, or other computer aided industrial design or 3D visualization software is a plus

Familiarity with automotive design and visualization is a plus
