ARE YOU READY TO TAKE YOUR CAREER TO NEW HEIGHTS? ARE YOU SEEKING A NEW CHALLENGE IN A DYNAMIC SECTOR?

This is a very exciting and highly innovative time here at Outside.

OUR TRUE NORTH:Outside Interactive, Inc., the premier hub for active lifestyle enthusiasts, offers best-in-class content and experiences to more than 70 million of the world’s most passionate outdoor, wellness, and endurance enthusiasts every month. We inspire a broad and diverse audience to do the activities they love with greater enjoyment, inspiration, and knowledge and are dedicated to making real change in the outdoor and fitness industries.

Warren Miller Entertainment has been the defining voice of ski culture for over 75 years. Outside, Inc. brings together the world's most trusted outdoor brands — and at the center of it all is a film tour that has sold out theaters from Aspen to Anchorage every fall. We're looking for a driven, outdoor-obsessed sales professional to own the Independent Promotions program: close new business, delight existing partners, and run the operational engine that makes each show a success.

This is a sales role first. Everything else — logistics, database management, AI co-working, cross-team coordination — supports that mission. If you love ski culture, know how to close, and want to work alongside AI tools that amplify what you can do, keep reading.

What You'll Do

Sales & Business Development (Primary Focus)

Prospect, pitch, and close new independent promoter and licensee deals to hit seasonal revenue targets

Own the full sales cycle — lead generation through signed contract — using Salesforce as your system of record

Negotiate licensing terms and pricing within established guidelines

Build and maintain a warm pipeline of outdoor industry venues, ski resorts, event promoters, and community organizations

Identify upsell and renewal opportunities within the existing partner base

AI Collaboration & Program Operations

Work daily with Claude (Anthropic) and other AI tools to research leads, draft outreach, generate reports, and manage customer communications

Help train and refine AI workflows that handle routine program tasks — you're building a smarter program, not just executing one

Maintain show listings, calendar, and partner-facing website content

Oversee physical and digital delivery of film and marketing materials to promoters

Partner Success & Account Management

Serve as the day-to-day contact for independent promoters — answer questions, resolve issues, keep relationships strong

Support Outside membership promotions distributed through the IP network

Liaise with fulfillment, marketing, and finance teams to ensure promoters have everything they need

Reporting & Finance

Track payments and revenue against targets; flag discrepancies early

Monitor monthly remittance reports to verify alignment with licensing agreements

Assist accounting with collections and year-end financial close

Prepare sales estimates, competitive research, and post-show recaps

Who You Are

A proven closer — you've carried a number and hit it, in sales, sponsorship, events, or a related field

Genuinely passionate about skiing, snowboarding, and the outdoor culture Warren Miller and Outside represent; familiarity with the brands is strongly preferred

Fluent with AI tools (Claude, Gemini, or equivalent) and excited to use them as a real force multiplier in your work

Proficient in Salesforce, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

A clear, confident communicator — over email, phone, and in person

Detail-oriented and deadline-driven; you don't let things slip through the cracks during a busy fall tour season

Self-starting and comfortable working independently while staying tightly coordinated with a small team

Based in or able to reliably commute to Boulder, CO for the duration of the contract

Nice to Have

Experience with DocuSign, NetSuite, or similar contract/invoicing platforms

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite

Background in event production, film distribution, or outdoor/action sports industries

Prior seasonal or contract role experience — you know how to ramp fast and deliver

Why This Role

You'll have real ownership over a program with 75+ years of brand equity behind it, work alongside AI tools that genuinely expand what one person can do, and spend your fall helping bring a beloved ski film tour to life. It's a short engagement with a long reputation — and a great way to build relationships across the outdoor industry.
