LOCATION

Paris (hybrid). This role requires regular presence in our Paris office, as it involves office operations and on-site coordination.

ROLE

The mission of this role is to make Morpho's People and HR operations run smoothly and reliably as the team scales past 70 people, by owning French payroll, onboarding, and office operations end-to-end so that talent and leadership are never pulled into admin.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the day-to-day operations of our Paris office, across three areas:

Employee Experience & Office

- Support office operations, including liaison with the building and workspace provider, room bookings, deliveries, and on-site coordination, to keep the Paris office running without friction.

- help coordinate office vendors, supplies, equipment, and facilities requests so the team always has what it needs.

- Support office budgeting and purchasing, and track company assets such as laptops and equipment with Finance for depreciation.

- Support offsite and onsite logistics so team gatherings run smoothly.

People Operations

- Support People Operations for employees across our global workforce as needed.

- Operate employee systems across the company so employee information stays accurate and secure, and provide backup coverage for People and HR admin during absences.

Payroll & Administration

- Collect and validate payroll changes, benefits updates, PTO, and supporting documentation to keep payroll clean and compliant.

- Assist with invoices, expense tracking and approvals, and People-related vendor administration.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

First 30 days

You will have shadowed the team to learn the onboarding and contract-creation flows, gotten to know the tools and the people, and taken over routine office liaison, supplies, and deliveries as an early quick win.

First 4 months

You will proactively help onboard new French hires end to end, and office operations with minimal oversight, measurably reducing the admin load on talent and leadership.

In 1 year

You will be the able to independently handle day-to-day ops, with proper documentation and resilient enough to survive any single person's absence.

MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

- Experience or strong curiosity to learn People/HR operations, payroll, or office management, ideally in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment.

- Highly organized and autonomous

- Tech-savvy and comfortable adopting new tools, AI, and automations.

- Strong ownership

- Based in Paris and able to be regularly present in the office.

- Native or near-native French, plus professional English.

- Humble.
