The District Manager (DM) is a key sales leadership role responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of Associate Clinical Oncology Specialists (ACOS) and Clinical Oncology Specialists (COS) across the Midwest region. The DM is accountable for driving regional sales performance, increasing market share, and ensuring the successful execution of commercial strategies across Natera's Oncology portfolio.

In addition to developing talent and leading the business, the District Manager maintains executive-level customer relationships, supports strategic accounts, provides coverage for vacant territories when needed, and partners cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve regional growth objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Associate Clinical Oncology Specialists (ACOS) and Clinical Oncology Specialists (COS).

Drive regional sales performance by increasing test utilization, expanding existing accounts, and acquiring new physician and health system customers.

Sell and support the full portfolio of Natera Oncology products while providing direct field coverage for vacant territories when needed.

Partner with ACOS and COS team members to develop territory strategies, execute business plans, and achieve sales objectives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, administrators, and key stakeholders throughout the oncology continuum of care.

Assess customer needs and provide solutions through clinical education, logistical support, problem-solving, and ongoing account management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience and timely resolution of customer issues.

Maintain expert knowledge of Natera Oncology products, services, clinical data, and operational processes.

Serve as a role model by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer excellence.

Maintain the confidentiality of patient, laboratory, and financial information.

Adhere to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.

Complete required compliance training and other assigned responsibilities within established timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Minimum of 5 years of successful healthcare sales experience, with at least 3 years of oncology sales experience strongly preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of people leadership or sales management experience preferred.

Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales goals and leading high-performing teams.

Background in medical, biological, or life sciences preferred.

Willingness to travel approximately 60–75%.

Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of balancing both strategic initiatives and day-to-day execution.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and time management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel), Gmail, Salesforce.com, and other CRM tools.

In addition to the On-Target Earnings (OTE) listed below, this position is eligible for a monthly car allowance and annual restricted stock unit (RSU) awards.

Compensation & Total Rewards

The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. On-target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals. It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount, providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.

This position is also eligible for additional compensation and benefits through Natera’s robust Total Rewards program, including:

Compensation Range

$220,000—$245,000 USD
