*This role can either be filled remotely in the United States OR Hybrid in our New York, NY office (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership Director role responsible for being the creative force behind TPG's partnerships and loyalty program content — generating the ideas, concepts and frameworks that make our editorial, social, video and email content stand out, and then ensuring those ideas are executed at a premium standard.

This is a Content role, not a Sales or Account Management role. You will not own the partner relationship, negotiate deals, or manage accounts — that work belongs to Sales. Your job is to be the creative engine that Sales lean on for original ideas, and to make sure those ideas come to life the way they were envisioned.

You will operate as both:

The creative lead — generating differentiated, audience-first content ideas for loyalty programs and partnerships across every format

The execution owner within Content — living inside the Content org and working across Editorial, Video, Social and Email to ensure your ideas are produced and published at a premium bar

This role sits at the center of Editorial, Video, Social, Email, Sales, Marketing and Analytics — but reports into, and is a member of, the Content team.

What You'll Do:

Be the Creative Force Behind Partnerships & Loyalty Content

Generate original, differentiated content concepts integrating TPG’s expertise in loyalty programs to clients — the ideas Sales brings into RFPs and proactive pitches, not the pitch or deal itself.

Build a clear, differentiated creative POV on what great partnerships and loyalty content looks like at TPG, and how it's distinct from what any other publisher offers.

Design modular, repeatable creative frameworks and content packages that can flex across editorial, social, video and email.

Advise Sales leadership on category strategy and packaging from a creative and content standpoint — informing, not owning, pricing and deal structure.

Make Sure Great Ideas Get Made Well

Partner with Editorial, Social, Video and Email teams to ensure every idea you generate is executed with a premium creative standard — audience-first, on-brand, platform-native and commercially effective.

Stay hands-on through production, providing creative direction and feedback so the final work matches the original idea.

Build scalable creative workflows that let the Content team produce high-quality partnerships and loyalty content without sacrificing craft.

Connect Ideas to Revenue

Design every content idea around a clear performance hypothesis and success metrics, so creative choices are also commercially grounded.

Identify new creative territory and monetization angles across formats (editorial, video, social, email, tentpoles) for Sales to package and sell.

Note: deal conversion, contract terms, and account retention/upsell remain owned by Sales and Account Management — your accountability is for the quality, originality and performance of the content itself.

Lead as a Creative Partner

Act as the primary creative connector between Sales and Content — translating what partners need into ideas the Content team can build, while protecting editorial integrity.

Partner closely with:

Editorial & Email on voice, standards and integration points

Video & Social on formats, talent and distribution

Analytics on measurement and optimization

Marketing on amplification and audience growth

Bring creative authority to client-facing concept presentations and creative decisions — while Sales and Account Management continue to own the commercial relationship.

Build Creative Systems, Not Just Campaigns

Create the infrastructure that lets great ideas scale:

Creative playbooks

Content frameworks and templates

Production workflows

Identify creative and production bottlenecks and solve for speed, efficiency and quality.

Establish a test-and-learn culture for new creative formats and approaches.

Lead and Develop Creative Talent

Mentor and elevate team members across partnerships content, social, video and written production — all within the Content org.

Set a high creative bar for original thinking, execution and accountability.

Help build the next generation of creative leaders within the partnerships and loyalty content function.

What Success Looks Like

Within 6–12 months:

TPG has a clear, differentiated creative offering for partnerships that improves win rates

Partner content is consistently original, high-quality, scalable and on-brand

The Content team is recognized as the creative source of these ideas

Content is directly contributing to revenue growth and partner retention through strong creative execution

Internal teams are aligned on the process and every team is getting what they need when they need it

TPG is recognized by partners as a top-tier creative partner for custom content campaigns

What We're Looking For:

8+ years of experience in custom content, creative, editorial or brand storytelling with clear progression into creative leadership roles.

A proven ideas person: track record of generating original content concepts that make partnerships and loyalty programs distinctive, not managing the accounts behind them.

Strong creative and editorial instincts across written, video and social formats.

Comfortable partnering closely with Sales without taking on sales or account-management responsibilities.

Demonstrated ability to operate at both the big creative idea and the execution details.

Comfortable leading in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and making high-stakes creative decisions.

Exceptional cross-functional operator who can influence Sales, Editorial, Video, Social and Email without direct authority over any of them.

Confident, polished and credible presenting creative concepts to senior stakeholders and clients.

Highly structured thinker who can build creative systems that scale, not just one-off campaigns.

Experience in travel, finance or performance-driven media is a plus.
