Automation QA Engineer
We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join our team.
Our clients create a comprehensive site lifecycle management solution tailored for the telecommunications and energy industries. It enables organizations to efficiently manage sites, assets, projects, and leases, enhancing operational visibility and resource allocation throughout the site lifecycle.
Project stack: .NET Framework 4.7.2, OpenSearch 2.3.0 (Elasticsearch), ASP, JS, HTML, CSS, XML, React, React-Bootstrap, Sencha (no new development), Bootstrap (no new
development), jQuery, Visual Studio 2019, 2022, Postman, Veracode, REST APIs, Git
QA stack: Robot Framework, Postman, K6, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Octopus, TeamCity (in plan to migrate to GitHub, GitHub Actions).
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in web applications testing with a focus on automation and performance testing
At least 1 year of experience as automation QA
Experience with usage of Robot framework for automated testing
Experience in performance testing
Proficiency with Postman
Good understanding of testing processes and Agile methodologies, especially SAFe
Strong experience working with test management systems
Basic understanding of programming logic and application workflows
Ability to understand, test, and validate application workflows during UAT activities
Knowledge of programming concepts and end-to-end business/application flow testing (UAT)
Experience with UAT, including validation of application flows, business processes, and system behavior
Familiarity with coding principles to effectively analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and support UAT activities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to have:
Experience with Python
Familiarity with MS Azure
Experience with usage of Jenkins, Octopus, TeamCity, GitHub and GitHub Actions
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain automated test cases using Robot Framework to ensure functionality, integration, and regression testing
Design and implement API and UI test automation frameworks, making use of Robot Framework's keyword-driven approach
Write custom Python libraries to extend the Robot Framework for specific testing requirements
Use K6 for load testing and performance testing of APIs
Monitor and analyze performance metrics from k6 to identify potential bottlenecks and scalability issues
Collaborate with the development team to understand new features and ensure appropriate testing coverage
Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality standards for test code
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Generate and maintain detailed test reports, logs and performance metrics
